Description

There’s nothing worse than living next door to your childhood nemesis, except maybe being forced to share your dream project with him, being blackmailed into going along with something that was just wrong on so many levels, and having your hot cocoa stolen by the person that drove you to drink it in the first place.
As long as she has plenty of hot cocoa, a pair of pliers on hand and is able to resist Connor O’Neil’s bad boy charm then Rory James should be able to make it through this project with her sanity intact. If not…..
She’d probably face a few more nights in jail, have a few more restraining orders slapped against her and lose her heart to the man that ruined her life.

Aww I loved this. I was so happy to see the bradfords back in this story. I cannot help it I am in love with all of them and want more stories. Zoe and Trevor are the best and Jason is too funny. This story was awesome childhood love. Rory made me laugh so many times. She was a spitfire.

Though not really a Bradford, Rory fits right in with her cousins. And Connor manages to hold his own with them and Rory's five brothers. Having been at each other's throats since preschool, their story of hi jinx and banning a is just too hilarious to stop reading. I always gush when Connor reveals the truth! Omg!

Checkmate captures the beauty of family and love while not stereotyping a typical relationship between characters. While ready I was able to connect with the humor and desperation Mathewson incorporates in her novels, making me feel as if the storyline was apart of my life.

Not my favorite, was to drawn out. Could have been 200 pages long, and ended the same. Not the best by far

I liked this book but it didn't get good until the last 250 pages.

I love this book.. Love love LOVE it. Just sad it's over. The characters drew me in and had me thinking of them, smiling, periodically throughout the day. The whole nightmare neighbor series has really been wonderful so far. It's 11pm and even the threat of a busy work day looming around the corner and a funny, ENERGETIC four year old daughter who will undoubtedly want to play with me - not to mention dreaded housework - cant stop me from at least starting book 4.

I have read my share if romantic novels, but this book was absolutely funny. The dialogue was great, the setup, the delivery was well timed. I didn't want the book to end and I kept waiting for the next ridiculous antic. Loved it! Very funny and I had to write a review!
