Description

Fall in love with the boy next door in this sweet romance by USA Today Best Selling Author, Jillian Dodd.

You know, being friends with two cute boys does have its benefits.

There's Danny. Danny is a golden boy in every way. He has dreamy blue eyes and blonde hair that always looks perfect, even when it’s windblown or been stuck under a football helmet. He’s the boy every girl crushes on. The boy I get into trouble with, the boy I fight with, the hot quarterback no girl can resist. Being with Danny is like being on an adventure. He has a bright, contagious smile and abs to die for.

Equally crush worthy is Phillip. Adorable, sweet Phillip, who I have known since birth. Phillip has dark hair, a perfect smile, brown eyes, and the sexiest voice I have ever heard. He’s the boy I talk to every night before I go to sleep. The boy who rescues me, the boy who can read my mind, the boy who is always there for me, the boy who tries to keep me out of trouble, the boy who irritatingly keeps getting hotter, and whose strong arms always seem to find their way around me.  And when he gives me that grin, I can never say no.

One boy will give me my very first kiss.
One boy will teach me to make out.
One boy will take me to prom.
And finally, one boy will ask me to marry him.
They will both be my best friends.
But only one of them will be the boy I fall in love with.
Only one of them is that boy.

Truly enjoyed this sweet love story. I laughed and I cried. Not many books have the ability to bring out these emotions in me.

This story is about JJ and growing up next door to Phillip and Danny. They have always been there for each other even in the worse of times. I loved seeing the three of them grow up together and how their relationships changed over time. I loved how things worked out in the end can’t wait for more.

This books is great. Probably my new favorite. It’s got me in the mood to start writing again myself, not many books do that. I already have a draft and a few pages done. I was so inspired. Love this book and can’t wait to read even more of her work. Thank you for inspiring me. ❤️

Takes to long to get to the point. There’s not even a story really, it’s just a bunch of random moments.

I absolutely loved this book, there was no way I was getting a decent amount of sleep until it was finished.. I couldn’t stop reading! I knew JJ would end up with one of the two boys from the beginning but quickly realized who it was! Such a sweet book and would definitely recommend to others!

I have to admit, the storyline was cute, but I felt it was quite butchered. What with Jay’s relationships with the two boys seemed so odd with her so suddenly being with Danny, and then right on to Phillip and still unsure? So much of it was just so unrealistic, and yes, I know that this is fiction, but I just felt like I couldn’t relate to any of this. The tragic scene with Jay’s parents (trying not to spoil) was just so unrealistic as well. The way she reacted to everything was so not right. Maybe if I were 12 or 13 I’d enjoy this more? Jay’s life was just so unrealistic and seemed so immature for her age. Probably wouldn’t recommend this book.

Don’t pay $10 for each of the books in this series. Wait until it gets to half price books and you can buy it for $2.
  • Not a book

    By Great super duper book!!!
This was a diary/journal log, not a book classification. The book was so very very long and slow paced. I was bored to death! The summary wasn’t very eye capturing and the book was terrible.

I didn’t like the way the book was written in the style of her rambling thoughts and some of it was really drug out. I did read all of it though because I wanted to know how it ended. I don’t think I can manage to get through any of the sequels though.
