It has since been recognized as one of the world's most influential political manuscripts. Commissioned by the Communist League, it laid out the League's purposes and program. It presents an analytical approach to the class struggle (historical and present) and the problems of capitalism, rather than a prediction of communism's potential future forms.

  • Enlightening

    By Bob billingson
I have felt the oppression of the bourgeoisie ever since i stepped into the wide world at the ripe age of 18. In a country which prides itself with the “freedom” of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, it is us the working class that suffers. This book made me realize the unfair system which binds us. The system of caste-based segregation that takes the power from the working class and hands it to the rich. DOWN WITH THE SYSTEM!
  • Loved it!

    By M. Rothbard78
I loved the chance to read this book and see what utter garbage these ideas are. Reading it lays waste to the argument that Communism is at least a good idea on paper, it’s not. Historically these ideas have killed millions, making it horrible in practice and in print.
  • Words Really Can Change Someone

This book was so beautifully written, beginning by introducing the many, many flaws in capitalism and ultimately introducing communism. The book immediately captivated me, persuading me with communism’s envisioned utopia explained by the legend, Karl Marx, creating one of the most influential events of the 20th Century.
  • Power in writing

    By joseth stalin
Marx a writer whose philosophy was one that influence the world. His writing inspires people to the point it creates superpowers like the infamous Soviet Union. I believed that he has power in writing, thus I should end this comment.
  • Utter Garbage

    By James Brandon
I always wondered if Marx could have imagined the tens of millions of dead bodies this book would lead to. But after reading this, I realized that’s probably exactly what he wanted.
  • The Communist Manifesto in 2019

While the Communist Manifesto may have been written in the 19th Century, many of the things that it talks about still have a lot of importance in the modern day. While I am no communist myself, it offers an important view on a way for all people of a Nation to unite and create a state of equality for all people. While idealistic and likely not to work in any large or modernized state, reading this book will allow for those who speak ignorantly of the "communism" they have seen in history, to understand the true nature of Marxism and what Marx was truly aiming to do with Communism. I would say this is a MUST READ for anyone who wants to speak knowledgeably about communism even in the most basic conversations
